Maternal and Child Health (MCH) care refers to the health services provided to mothers and children, from pregnancy to childhood. Here are some key aspects of MCH care:


Maternal Health Care :


1. *Prenatal Care*: Regular health check-ups during pregnancy to monitor the health of the mother and the fetus.

2. *Intrapartum Care*: Medical care during labor and delivery to ensure a safe and healthy birth process.

💨Maternal Welfare Objective:


1. Maternal and pregnancy health work is the work of primary health care and there are special clinics and the care of specialist doctors. School health charity is the main work of primary health center.


2. School is an important place for vaccination. In 1990, World Health Organization recognized vaccination as an integrated charity, and a national vaccination schedule was published.


3. School Sanitation The school itself is an example of sanitation. Adequate drinking water facilities and sanitary latrines should be provided separately for men and women. Traders should not be allowed. School environment plays an important role in mental and social condition.


4. Food donation for the most malnourished children through the school canteen, the health nurse should look after the following feeding programs through midday meal program, vitamin A giving program etc.
